SOMERSET, N.J. (October 23, 2012) – Raritan, a leading provider of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions, today announced that two of its DCIM solutions were recognized for their innovation in efficient data center management.  Raritan dcTrack® DCIM software received the bronze 2012 Innovation Distinction (id 2012) award, and Raritan’s Intelligent Asset Management solution was awarded New Jersey Technology Council’s (NJTC) Innovation Award.

Presented at the 2012 Data Center Innovation Expo (DCIE) in Montreal, id 2012 awards recognize the most noteworthy data center achievements in the past three years.  An international jury of data center experts and operators selected dcTrack because of its proven ability “to help data centers reduce energy consumption, maximize space utilization, extend the useful life and facilitate the operation of a data center in a cost-effective manner.”  Judges also presented id 2012 silver and gold awards to 3M Canada and Énergie Directe Services Commerciaux (Direct Energy), respectively.

According to DCIE, “Data center professionals are constantly looking for new ways to maximize usage of technical, human and financial project resources and to effectively and efficiently facilitate their daily management.  The award recognizes and acknowledges the contribution of visionaries, such as Raritan, whose work is opening new paths to a bright future.”  Raritan demonstrated the DCIM solutions with partner InfraDesigns at the Montreal event.
